pathen is a magnificent animation, with amazing lighting, timing and acting, but whats most interesting to me is the depth of subtle details and hints about what lies beyond the brief glimpse we get into this world. (

I am very surprised!
O.O
your you did a very good work! ^^
I do stuff like that sometimes. That phrase just really hit me.
First off I couldn't figure out where to put this, but the footsteps are going to be at different volumes depending on how distant the camera is.
That can be helped by having the video be separate from the rendered video and then added on later with Premier or After Effects or something.
Keeping that in mind, the smack with the ground seemed overpowering and didn't work at all well with the music (which I would suggest changing after all the jerks and swings start happening)
how you do it
ah i could never do this
I like the design of the characters(robots, I assume?)
I was not expecting any type of action scenes so you startled me. It looks great!
Nice movements and viewpoints. I love the panning of the camera to get a better angle of the poses!
The only thing I dislike about this is that it is a bit too dark for me to see exactly what is going on. The illumination helps though.
I feel a bit sorry fr the White Robot here, because he was curious and awakening to a new environment, he finds his only company, who immediately tries to harm him. In his desire for self preservation he kills his only companion. He leads him self to an existence of solitude, a he realizes he has just killed another. Its almost like you can see it on his face as he ponders the blood.
Outside of that, I'm not sure if it's my connection or not, but for a bit the steps don't match the foot fall sounds.
I'd love to see the animation developed more into a few more shorts. Your works says "there is more here" to me, and makes me curious to see what the "more" is.
To my faves!
As I said, otherwise you do a stunning job.
